their Ph.D. advisor.
- Transportation:
There is a regional Gainesville airport served by Delta and US Airways. Jacksonville and Orlando airports offer
greater flexibility and lower rates, but they are both between 1 and 2 hour drive from Gainesville. We can only
reimburse car rental made with AVIS, tel. 1-800-831-2847. AVIS offers one way
rentals. Use their "Florida State Rate" and Gainesville Sheraton station. The
one-way subcompact rental will come to $30. Please give
the organizers your flight numbers and
arrival/departure time; we may be able to provide a pickup/dropoff service
at the Orlando airport. There is now a scheduled shuttle service between the Jacksonville airport and Gainesville, Runways
.
