  • Unit 1:Sobolev spaces, Chapter 5 (sections 5.1-5.10);
  • Unit 2: Second order elliptic equations, Chapter 6 (sections 6.1-6.6);
  • Unit 3: Linear evolution equations, Chapter 7, (sections 7.1 and 7.4)

  • Test: There will be three 100-point tests tentatively scheduled for 9/17(F), 10/15 (F) and 11/15 (M).

  • Final: There will be an 100-point final exam. tentatively scheduled for Dec. 15 (W) 8:30-9:30am.

  • Homework: Homework will be assigned regularly.

  • Grading: The total points are 400.
    A=90-100, B+=86-89, B=80-85, C+=76-79, C=70-75, D+=66-69, D=60-65, E=0-59,

  • Important: You must have written medical documentation for makeup tests.
