Social Events / Tourism

  • Several events are being planned, including a Barbecue-and-Pool party (bring your swimming suit) one evening during the workshop and some optional trips to local attractions before or after the workshop (such as a hike through an area with lots of alligators, and a visit to a local sinkhole called Devil's Millhopper).

  • Florida has a numerous well-known tourist attractions. Just to name a few:

    They are mostly about 100 miles south of University of Florida. We do not have any specific plans with respect to them, but recommend that you rent a car and visit them before or after the Workshop.
