Date unknown: On Linux: The following works in Konqueror, but fails in both Galeon and Firefox.
25Dec2005: I haven't seen this idea on the web, but it is a pretty obvious in retrospect.
24Dec2009: On MacOSX: Works in Safari and Opera, but fails in FF. I do not know if it works in Microsofts's IE.
30May2010: On MacOSX: Weirdly, Real Player is now also a web-browser, and the spiral works. Works also in iCab. Still fails in FF.
Dec2011: On MacOSX: Finally works in FF.
