MAS 6332 Algebra 2

MWF Period 3, Lit 217

This course gives a broad survey of topics in modern algebra and prepares students for the PhD qualifying exam in algebra. The main topics of the Spring semester are Commutative Algebra, Noncommutative Rings and Category Theory.

There will be graded problem sets, just as in the previous semester.

"Students requesting classroom accommodation must first register with the Dean of Students Office. The Dean of Students Office will provide documentation to the student who must then provide this documentation to the Instructor when requesting accommodation."
