11 March 2011 Dear All, Some last minute SEAM details. The web site
has recently been updated with a final schedule, abstracts and the like. It now has an FAQ page with information (or links to) about equipment, the banquet, getting to the airport, etc. The short answer about equipment is if your talk is in .pdf format on a flash drive you should be fine. If it is in .pdf format and you have access to it via the internet that should be ok too. You could also send the .pdf file to Scott (sam@math.ufl.edu). We will be requesting these anyway to post on the seam website after the conference as part of the meetings dissemination efforts. Overhead projectors will be available in all rooms. Chalkboards in the rooms on Saturday. The fee for the banquet is $25, cash or check payable to UF Mathematics to be collected at the conference by Friday afternoon. See the FAQ for details. There will be cash bars at both the reception and banquet. Yes, cash. There is no registration fee, but you will need to sign in. See the FAQ for details. In most cases, reimbursements checks will be ready. See the FAQs for details. This is likely the last pre-meeting email, so you might check the web site for further updates.
