I wrote up some notes for the cryptography class I gave in Spring 1999 (MAS 7396). These are still in the process of revision, so be charitable.
Those of you who took History of Mathematics from me will probably remember that Archytas of Taras solved the cube duplication problem by finding the intersection point of a cylinder, cone, and a torus. I managed to produce a picture of this using the Persistance Of Vision raytracer. A delightful timewaster...
