Attendance is required and may influence the final grade. Instructor will check attendance at the beginning of each class (both lectures and computer labs).

The students are responsible for submitting all assignments in a timely fashion. Late submissions will not be accepted except in the documented cases of medical emergency (e.g. a medical note). If you happen to attend a wedding in Seattle, a funeral in Chicago, or a conference in Paris, you should submit the assignment(s) via e-mail.
