Text: Walter Rudin, Principles of Mathematical Analysis (third
edition)
This course continues from MAA 5228/4226: specifically covering topics from Chapters 6 (Riemann integral only), 7, 8, and 11.
There will be four written in-class tests during the semester, at
three or four week intervals; grades will be based on performance in
these equally-weighted tests. Homework will be regularly assigned and
discussed, but will not enter into the calculation of grades.
Makeup tests will be given for the usual documented reasons.
