Calculus on Normed Spaces
MAT 6932
Section 0714
Instructor: Paul Robinson
Class: MTWRF 1 (08:00-09:15); 125 Little Hall
Office hours:
This
course will cover the differential calculus on normed vector spaces.
After first addressing necessary (and some unnecessary) background on
normed vector spaces themselves, notions of differentiability will be
studied and developed; all the standard theorems will be carefully
proved, including those pertaining to inverse and implicit functions.
Students will prepare lecture notes (with embedded exercises) for
posting.
