Polarized Partition Relations
In this talk we will outline what is known to be (or known not to be) provable in ZFC about polarized partition relations for ordinals. We will also demonstrate a recently developed analytic technique that both simplifies and extends the proofs of these results. No familiarity will polarized partition relations will be assumed. We will need only elementary logic, set theory, and model theory to proceed from basic definitions to complete proofs of new results.
