We discuss the situation of polynomials associated with the symmetric groups and the hyperoctahedral groups, the Weyl groups of type A and B respectively. With the use of the computer algebra system Maple, we can search for interesting formulas and equations and be led to plausible conjectures. Examples from the theories of nonsymmetric Jack polynomials and generalized harmonic polynomials will be presented. ===========================================================
