My name is Dzung Phan.
Currently, I am a
Research Staff Member at IBM T. J.
Watson Research Center,
Yorktown Heights, NY. I
got my PhD
degree at the Department
of Mathematics,
University
of Florida under supervision of Professor
William
Hager.
I obtained my master's degree in
Computational Engineering at the
Singapore-MIT
Alliance,
National
University of Singapore
studying with Professor
Jie
Sun (NUS) and Professor
Georgia
Perakis
(MIT).
Before arriving at NUS, I was an
undergraduate at the Hanoi
College of Science
belonging to the
Vietnam
National University (VNU) at
Hanoi, Vietnam. While there I was a member of
the Honors Program and worked with
Professor Nguyen Huu Cong to obtain a
Bachelor of Mathematics
degree. All my secondary
education happened at the
High School for gifted students in
Mathematics and Informatics,
so-called "A0", VNU.
I was also a member of the Department of
Applied Mathematics, Hanoi
University of Technology
Vietnam. |
