...will be available to participants from the South and graduate students. Our resources are limited and the contribution will not exceed $300. Graduate students should apply for support with the organizers with a brief description of research interests and achievements and a message from their Ph.D. advisor.


• Transportation:



There is a regional Gainesville airport served by Delta and US Airways. Jacksonville and Orlando airports offer greater flexibility and lower rates, but they are both between 1 and 2 hour drive from Gainesville. We can only reimburse car rental made with AVIS, tel. 1-800-831-2847. AVIS offers one way rentals. Use their "Florida State Rate" and Gainesville Sheraton station. The one-way subcompact rental will come to $30. Please give the organizers your flight numbers and arrival/departure time; we may be able to provide a pickup/dropoff service at the Orlando airport.

To get to Little Hall by car, enter the campus at 13th St. entrance (at the intersection of SW 13 St. and 2nd Ave.) turn left and leave your car at the gated parking lot in front of Little Hall. The gate is open during the weekends. Campus parking during the weekend is free and requires no permit.
