2010 Steering Committee Elections

Nominees.

Sample ballot

Dear All,

Another academic year has almost past and so once again it is time for steering committee elections. As is customary, the continuing members, Miklos Bona, Alexander Dranishnikov and myself, will supervise the nominations and elections.

Nominations are now open. Any eligible faculty (full time faculty) may nominate with consent of the nominee. Please send your nomination to any of the continuing members and we will verify the nominees willingness to serve. A list of nominees will be posted at Steering Committee Elections 2010

Nominations will close at 4pm on Monday April 5 provided there are at least four nominees of which at least one is a professor, at least one an associate professor, and at least one a lecturer.

Ballots will be distributed April 14 with votes due by 415 pm Friday, April 16. The template for the ballot (ballot minus nominee names), which specifies how the winners will be determined, is posted on the election web site. You will also have the option of voting absentee by sending an email to Margaret.

For the complete rules governing the steering committee and steering committee nominations and elections see the department bylaws at
