After earning 45 hours but before earning 96 hours, the student should apply for the minor at the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Advising Office,

The Elective Requirement (see below) must be completed at the University of Florida.



The following course work must be completed with a grade of C or better in each class.

Calculus 2: One of

MAC 2312..............................Calculus 2
MAC 3512..............................Calculus 2 for Advanced Placement Students
MAC 3473..............................Honors Calculus 2

Calculus 3: One of

MAC 2313..............................Calculus 3
MAC 3474..............................Honors Calculus 3

Differential Equations: One of

MAP 2302..............................Differential Equations
EGM 3311..............................Introduction to Engineering Analysis

Linear Algebra: One of

MAS 3114..............................Computational Linear Algebra
MAS 4105..............................Linear Algebra I

Elective Requirement:
    Three 3-credit courses at the 4000-level or above with the prefix MAA, MAD, MAP, MAS (excluding MAS 4105), MHF, or MTG.
    The preceding is the complete list of courses that count towards the elective requirement for the Minor in Mathematics. All three courses must be taken at University of Florida and from the UF Department of Mathematics. Courses taken at other institutions, or taken in other departments at UF,
    do not count towards this requirement, regardless of course title, description, or content.
