PROGRAM IN ALGEBRA, NUMBER THEORY,
AND COMBINATORICS 2008-09
During the year 2008-09, the
year long Program in Algebra, Number Theory, and Combinatorics
(ANTC) will focus on Quadratic and Higher Degree Forms,
areas which have seen dramatic progress in recent years most notably
by Manjul Bhargava (Princeton).
The program will be highlighted by two conferences:

November 2008.

Student Workshop and Conference on
Quadratic Forms, Sums of Squares, Theta Functions
and Integral Lattices, March 2009.
Organizers - Krishnaswami Alladi, George Andrews, Alex Berkovich, Frank Garvan
and Pham Tiep.
Manjul Bhargava is a consultant for both conferences.
Both conferences are being funded by the National Science Foundation.
