Abstract: 
We will focus on several algebraic approaches in constructing coarse spaces 
for symmetric positive definite forms, defined on graphs.  In this talk we 
shall consider some known approaches based on energy minimization and also 
new techniques based upon sharp two level convergence estimate. The bilinear 
forms of interest will include the finite element discretizations of second 
order partial differential equations.
