Abstract:
I will describe PDE-based geometric models for image processing, segmentation,
and analysis. I will present a general image denoising model based on so-called 
'Beltrami flow' and a fast way of solving the governing equation. Next, I will 
describe an implicit surface model for segmentation that runs at interactive 
speeds. The talk is geared towards newer applications in biomedical imaging 
and electron microscopy.
