Travel Support and Accomodation
The conference NSF grant provides travel and lodging for 20 student-presenters and 3 professors.
Students: 
A total of $272.00 can be reimbursed for expenses in travel and lodging.
Travel: Gas expense or airfare will be reimbursed on submission of appropriate receipts.
Lodging: Reservations can be made on your behalf at the Rush Lake
Motel (1410 SW 16th Avenue, Gainesville, 352-373-5000). Approximate distance
to Mathematics Department is 1 mile. Conference Rates are $50 per night.

Room Sharing might be a good option to lower your lodging expenses. If you intend to do so, please fill
out the Room Sharing Form (PDF,
DOC) and email it to Souvik at
souvik@ufl.edu by January 25th. He will circulate the details among the male and female participants respectively.
The participants are responsible for contacting each other to finalize your roommate and let Souvik know by January 30th.
Faculty: 
A total of $970.00 can be reimbursed for expenses in travel and lodging.

- Hilton: 1714 SW 34th Street, Gainesville, 352-371-3600. Approximate distance to Math Dept = 3 miles.
- Paramount Plaza: 2900 SW 13th Street, Gainesville, 352-377-4000. Approximate distance to Math Dept = 2.5 miles.
- Springhill Suites (by Marriott): 4155 SW 40th Blvd, Gainesville, 352-376-8873. Approximate distance to Math Dept = 4.5 miles.
- Other motels: There are thousands of motel rooms in Gainesville. Here is a link to the Gainesville Visitor and Convention Bureau which lists many of them. These motels will be, of course, of varying quality, and the prices will vary a great deal especially with Gatornationals. You may get a good rate through an on-line travel service, but it has already happened that on-line rates were changed after a system was updated for special event rates.
