Grading policies

Qualifying Exams by State

Textbooks (faculty and staff):

  • The textbook adoption site is the place to record your textbook and software requirements. The undergraduate secretary can help you to put your text(s) in if they are not already there as course-wide adopted texts.

Online Class Bulletin Boards (teaching staff)

Computer Labs:

  • CIRCA microcomputer labs are available for use by students, faculty, staff.

Reservations Reservations for classroom visits to CIRCA labs can be made online. For full term use, reservations must be made prior to the start of the term. For special use visits, reservations must be made at least one week prior to the proposed time.

Teachers who have special software needs must inform CIRCA well in advance. For (non-productivity) programs required for your class, like Maple or MATLAB, be sure to list them through the textbook adoption site listed below. Students will pay either two cents per minute per application or twenty dollars per term (their choice) for productivity or other non-required applications used in the CIRCA labs.

If you have special software or data disks that you want to make available for your students to copy, deliver them to E520 CSE a week before you want them in the labs. Software that you want installed on hard disks or on network file servers must be delivered much earlier. Teachers who want software installed on hard disks or file servers should call 392-2007.
