USA. This is the day preceding the opening of the annual joint meeting of the American Mathematical Society and the Mathematical Association of America. We welcome the attendance of all mathematicians and mathematics educators who wish to honor Professor D'Ambrosio. Most of us are aware of Professor D'Ambrosio's influence in the areas of ethnomathematics, the history of mathematics and mathematics education.
