Welcome to the University of Florida Mathematics Graduate Program and Admissions Application on the World Wide Web. We constructed it to provide you with information about our graduate program leading to the following degrees: Ph.D.; Master of Arts and Master of Science in Mathematics (including a Master's program in Applied Mathematics); and Master of Arts and Master of Science in Teaching Mathematics. You will also find information about the application process, teaching assistantships, and department faculty and courses. The University strongly encourages online applications. You can request that we send you a paper copy of the application form, which you can fill out and mail back to us. When your application is complete, you will be considered for all available forms of support. Since we consider applicants for admission as soon as the application is complete, it is best to send in your materials as soon as possible. In any case, fellowship applicants should have their applications complete by January 1, and applicants for teaching assistantships should complete their applications by March 1. In order to be on schedule, it is wise to take your GRE examination no later than December. (Foreign students may also need to take the TOEFL). The UF Mathematics Department offers a dynamic graduate program. We hope you send in your application. Please don't hesitate to call (352) 392-0281 or email us at gradsec@math.ufl.edu if you have any questions or if you need a paper copy of the application form.
Sincerely yours,
