Career Information

This page provides career resources for graduate students who are beginning the process of applying for jobs.

UF's Career Resource Center is a great resource. They host job fairs, mock interviews, resume and CV workshops, as well as maintain computerized database of companies doing on-campus interviews.

The Chronicle of Higher Education offers much information on academia and has job listings in academia. Their website is http://chronicle.com/jobs/.

The AMS has a very detailed article on the job hunting process in academia, which can be found here. It is recommended that all graduate students attend TA training sessions. UF offers these through the Teaching Center.
