• Monday, August 25: First colloquium of the Fall was given by Jonathan King entitled Can we predict tomorrow? Probability, entropy and the Sleeping Stockbroker.
• Monday, September 22: The First Joint Math-Stat Colloquium given by C.R. Rao (Penn State) on Anti-eigen values and anti-singular values of a matrix and applications to problems in statistics.
