MAC 1147 (Precalculus)
Students with weak background (such as no high school math credit higher
than Algebra II, or no senior math credit) may take
MAC 1140 and MAC 1114
and then take the placement test to place into MAC 2311.

or credit (with a grade of C or better) for MAC 1147 or higher.

2311 (Calculus 1)
Students with a 540, 550, or 560 SATII should consider taking MAC 1147.
Students with a C in MAC 1147 should be warned that they are likely to
experience difficulty in MAC 2311.
MAC 3472, Honors Calculus 1, is available
for students in the Honors Program.
