MAC 2233-4 Calculus Placement with AP/IB Credit

If you have Then

AP Calc AB exam = 1,2
or IB Math Methods = 1,2,3

You may register for MAC 2233 with a score of 520 on the SAT II Math II-C Placement Exam,

or

Take MAC 1147 (Precalculus) and earn a C or better.

or

Take MAC 1140 and then take the placement exam.

AP Calc AB exam = 3 or higher
or IB Higher Level of 6 or 7

You will receive credit for MAC 2311, do not need to take MAC 2233, and may take MAC 2234 if required.
IB Higher Level of 4 or 5
or or IB Math Methods of 6 or 7

You will receive credit for MAC 2233, and may take MAC 2234 if required.
