MAS 3512 Calculus 2 for Advanced Placement StudentsContent:MAC 3512 covers the content of MAC 2311 and MAC 2312: limits, continuity, differentiation, integration, logarithms and exponential functions, applications of integration, techniques of integrations, sequences, series, conic sections, and parametric equations. There is a special emphasis on the topics not in the Advanced Placement AB syllabus, such as infinite series. MAC 3512 prepares the student for MAC 2313 Calculus 3. Typical students are engineering, science, mathematics and quantitative sciences majors. Prerequisites:Advanced placement credit for MAC 2311. Textbook:Calculus Early Transcendentals by Stewart, 6th edition Recent Teachers:B. Edwards, P. Robinson, L. Shen. Not offered this semester.
